Resumen
The following project aims to establish pre-feasibility studies for the construction and implementation of artificial wetlands as a method of removing contaminants from the Municipality's main water source, the Soacha River. Said technological solution will allow mining quarries to reduce the polluting load from said activity. Throughout the document, each of the relevant stages that support the different pre-feasibility studies (both market, technical and financial) for the development of artificial wetlands in the Municipality of Soacha are developed, where it seeks to reduce in the most Optimal, on the water sources, these polluting loads that are the product of mining exploitation and that over the years have worsened the environmental outlook of the area and its inhabitants. All this based on each of the phases of the Logical Framework Methodology (MML). It is shown that the implementation of artificial wetlands is the most technically, operationally, environmentally and economically viable alternative for the Municipality, since when comparing in detail the different proposals available in the market and in the industry, the integrity is evidenced from different points of the designed solution.
