Resumen
The main objective of the document is to analyze and evaluate the different alternatives of sustainable urban drainage systems (SUDS), in order to project the feasibility of implementing one of these typologies in the technological faculty of the Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas. To do this, the technical differences between each of the typologies were identified and it was proposed which one was best adapted to the physical and structural conditions of the technological faculty. A database of the Institute of Hydrology and Environmental Studies of Colombia (IDEAM) was analyzed, which contains a consolidation of the pluviometric stations located in the Ciudad Bolivar locality in order to calculate the design flow. Estimates and calculations were made for the design of the proposed alternative based on the infrastructure of the current conventional drainage system, generating a cost projection and the budget for its implementation. Finally, it was found that with the implementation of the storage tank typology in blocks 1, 2, 3 and 4, which are the ones with the largest covered area within the technological faculty, more than 120 thousand liters of water per month can be captured and used, reducing the direct consumption of the aqueduct service, and with this saving a substantial contribution is made to the environment.
