Resumen
The following document reflects the research entitled Political culture and youth: analysis of political subjectivity in contemporary Bogota students, proposed within the framework of the Master in Communication / Education - Political Culture line of the Francisco José de Caldas District University (Bogotá -Colombia). In it, the notions of youth, citizenship, citizen participation, political culture and political subjectivity are problematized. It starts from the contemporary proposals of Latin American researchers on the matter, after which a survey-type research instrument is applied based on the structure of the most recent (2019) National Survey of Political Culture carried out by the National Department of Statistics (DANE) . The population object of the study is made up of young urban students from Bogotá and covers the educational levels of high school, technical education, technology and postgraduate training. After the systematization of the results, a hermeneutical analysis is proposed in light of the various analytical tools compiled by Karsten (2012) referring specifically to the level of youth citizen participation. Finally, a Youth Systemic Model is proposed taking into account the theoretical-conceptual elements of the matter, in relation to the analysis of the response corpus, in an exercise of Latin American intellectual sovereignty.
