This external internship report is the story of a training process and a responsibility acquired as an educator in training, for an educational community, it is nothing more and nothing less than the story of the experiences and pedagogical experiences shared with said educational institution of rural character, located in the municipality of Puerto Boyacá. This work will relate my experiences and experiences acquired from the pedagogical to the personal, considering the training process that I have gone through and the knowledge that I have acquired throughout my career in Art Education. Not without first stating that the path taken has been a process with great challenges and sacrifices but that without a doubt these have been the foundation stone to demonstrate that education through art is the path. I came to the educational community to contribute my knowledge regarding artistic education and to participate in the community as an equal, to also know its interests beyond education, that is, to arrive in the classroom as a teacher and as a subject present in the training. integral of the students, listening to their interests, experiences and understanding their particularities, all of this hand in hand with pedagogical strategies oriented from my training as a Graduate in Artistic Education and the guidelines or orientations given by the Ministry of National Education (MEN), which seek reduce the learning gaps caused by considerable state neglect, and aggravated by the coronavirus pandemic in rural schools, promoting a dignified and relevant education for children and young people that also invites them to the construction of critical thinking, curiosity and civic exercise. Hand in hand with artistic education the human and integral component of the being is strengthened, art not only allows us to express but also understand the other beyond the physical, in this way we learn more about the interests that permeate children. and young people in school and we promote, from different visions and positions, a more empathetic education with the subjects who go to school in search of a future for change. This vision of artistic education is subject to authors who contribute their ideas to shape this process from the vision and application given by me as the interpreter of said theories proposed through various pedagogical and didactic materials for the development of said practices.
