Resumen
Currently, the implementation of hybrid power generation systems is commonly used in non-interconnected areas of the country, given its location, its climatic characteristics, its difficult access, its dispersed and remote settlements, among other factors. This is why the articulation of energy systems such as solar photovoltaic systems and diesel power plants are presented as a sustainable energy solution for these areas. However, the installation, operation, maintenance and final disposal of these hybrid systems brings with it both positive and negative environmental and social impacts for isolated areas, since there is no structured methodological route that allows establishing what happens with these systems and the corresponding waste electrical and electronic equipment, hazardous waste such as batteries, oils and other constituent elements of photovoltaic solar systems, diesel plants, transformers, etc., once their useful life ends in the non-interconnected areas in which they were installed. That is why the IPSE, within its missionary nature and its environmental commitment, presents the need to prepare the life cycle analysis of these systems, the management plan and the formulation of circular economy strategies that allow the reintegration of usable waste to new production processes thus closing the life cycle of materials. The purpose of this document is to present the research proposal, within the framework of the development of the internship at the Institute for Planning and Promotion of Energy Solutions for Non-Interconnected Zones - IPSE, which aims to prepare the life cycle analysis of hybrid energy production systems, identifying the suppliers of the different components of the systems and their consequent management plan and formulation of circular economy strategies, through a case study in the department of La Guajira, Nazareth village, to the present internship, and that the guidelines for the implementation of the sustainable purchasing policy can also be proposed, requiring in contracting that suppliers who have post-consumer programs for the closed life cycle of the products be prioritized.
