Resumen
Aquatic ecosystems are mainly disturbed by human activities such as the dumping of industrial and domestic waste water, affecting the living conditions of different aquatic species. An analysis of physicochemical parameters are used to ascertain the status of a body of water, (Figueroa, et al. 2007), which only reflect the State of the water sources at a given time. The aquatic macroinvertebrate samplings are an alternative that allows a diagnosis of the gradual changes, the substances and disorders that an aquifer present can be, in the future, part of the conventional sampling. Therefore, this project aims to make a diagnosis of the water quality in Quebrada La Esmeralda of Bojaca’s municipality in Cundinamarca with the macroinvertebrates found therein.
