PLAN DE MANTENIMIENTO PREVENTIVO PARA LA MAQUINARIA PESADA DE LA EMPRESA LEÓN INGENIERÍA ACTIVA S.A.S

Abstract

The purpose of this project is to design a preventive maintenance plan for the heavy machinery of León Ingeniería Activa S.A.S., aiming to improve maintenance management and optimize the operational availability of equipment used in construction projects. The proposal arises from the identification of recurring failures, unplanned downtime, and high costs associated with corrective maintenance due to the absence of structured planning. A technical diagnosis of the current condition of the machinery was conducted, including equipment inventory, technical data sheets, failure analysis, and evaluation of existing maintenance practices. Based on this analysis, a preventive maintenance plan was developed incorporating scheduled routines, control formats, and preventive strategies. The expected outcomes include reduced downtime, extended equipment lifespan, improved operational safety, and strengthened organizational efficiency and competitiveness through structured maintenance management.
