Abstract

The objective of this work is to support the ongoing pilot study of the CPNT on the characterization of the surveyor's profession in Colombia. To this end, a pilot test was carried out in a virtual way, which consists of a survey created with the purpose of obtaining relevant information from surveyors who have a professional license in Colombia, for which the database of the NATIONAL PROFESSIONAL COUNCIL OF TOPOGRAPHY CPNT was revised. taking into account all those who have obtained their professional license since 2012. The results of the pilot tests allow the survey to be validated for future research due to the variety of responses, adding that this tool can be implemented on the CPNT page to obtain the data of those professionals who are about to be licensed in future research. in order to save resources in data collection.
