En busca del cuerpo surreal : experiencia de creación de una pieza experimental en torno al cuerpo en la pantalla

Abstract

This text gathers a dance research in which the concept of the body is questioned and re-established from surrealist methods and the construction of meaning in the experimental audiovisual language. This surreal body overturns the logic of conventionality and constitutes a further step towards new ways of conceptualizing pillar elements in movement practices such as space, weight, energy flow, and time. Faced with the ideological suspicion of the human body as an obsolete entity not only for the perception of reality but for creation in art, virtuality and the multimedia world open up a whole universe of infinite possibilities. The concrete world, including the body, stops being a biological physical consolidation to become transmutable codes. Perhaps it is time to reconsider the concept of the body and open the gaze towards the post-organic existence.
