Abstract

The Geographical Institute Agustín Codazzi is the entity in charge of the elaboration of cartography and inventories about all the characteristics of the soil, to execute the processes related to the cadastre and to advance geographic processes at a national level. In order to coordinate all its tasks in an appropriate manner, the IGAC is internally divided into strategic areas of work, which deal with a specific sector of study. The Geodetic Management Git, belonging to the geography and cartography sub-directorate is in charge of "executing the design, establishment and administration of the National Geodetic Reference Systems", an indispensable function for the geography of the country, therefore it is necessary and in It is important to have a good control over all the works carried out there.
