Resumen
Currently, because of the digital revolution, all generations have changed their perception of reality and the way they interactive socially. The millennials are known for being digital natives who build their own identity and express their selves in a different way of generations before them. It is supposed to be a challenge for the Colombian Education, because of the students now are subjects with more access to the information and they also face more critical possibilities.
In order to know how teenagers from different social-economical stratum of the city of Bogotá mean and interpreter social networks in their cultural context and academic area, we made an analysis and comparison between two population groups belonging to strata two and five. This study was supported by means of different methodological instruments and contributions from past researches.
In this way, this investigation project points to the need of an innovative education that leads to the develop of pedagogies, where adolescents’ emotions and concerns are an essential part of their academic training, understanding that this new generation changes constantly with the use of technology
