Modelo de gestión de inventarios para la empresa Imex Americas S.A.S.

Abstract

The following document corresponds to the final report of the internship modality work, carried out in the company Imex Americas SAS, as a requirement to obtain the title of Sports Manager of the Francisco Jose de Caldas District University, this work is aimed at the formulation of an inventory management model that improves the processes in the supply chain, understanding that the main economic activity of the company is to import commercialize and distribute office products and technology. Through the application of concepts of classical administrative theory and quantitative methods of administration, it is possible to structure the policies for the control, forecasting and replenishment of inventories and the formulation of procedure manuals for the logistics area, an important supply for the design of the SG-SST, system determined by decree 52 of 2017.
