Abstract

This paper reflects the creation process of a musical piece that approaches concepts of improvisation and indeterminism, through the exploration of the relationship dynamics that can be manifested between composer and performer. For that matter, improvisation and exploration sessions were made with a group of performers, in which sketches and graphic schemes were tried with the goal of finding the most appropriate language to communicate the compositive intentions for the final work. However, this creative process was remained active after the culmination of the sessions, and even, after the piece was presented in a concert space. Throughout this document is registered a whole creative experience built between a constant reflection about the musical creation, and influenced by the chain of actors that constitute the music as a social fact: composer, performer and audience.
