Caracterización de los pozos de la red de alcantarillado del casco urbano del Municipio de Coyaima Tolima

Abstract

This project seeks to characterize the wells of the sewerage network of the municipality of Coyaima Tolima to determine their main characteristics, the current state of the wells, their conductors and construction material; to update, analyze and give a quantitative data of the wells to which a corrective maintenance could be done, and thus optimize the collection and transportation of wastewater. The selected municipality is located south of the department of Tolima, on the right side of the central mountain range. The information collection process will be carried out in the urban area of the Coyaima municipality, where a Garmin Navigator was used for the location of the wells, a topographic level for the geometric leveling and the cadastre of the wells, with the information collected in In the field, a quantitative analysis of the network is carried out, which shows that more than 50% of the sewerage network in the urban area of the Coyaima municipality needs corrective maintenance. This collected information can be useful as a basis for the municipality's development system.
