Resumen
This work proposes the design and implementation of a steganographic cryptosystem to encrypt text and hide it in an image, involving digital image processing, with the aim of segmenting and identifying edges in them, using a novel scheme based on cellular automata. to carry out the steganographic process on these regions, with the LSB technique (substitution of the least significant bit) and with the pseudo-random selection of pixels using the chaotic Tinkerbell attractor, maintaining the quality of the resulting stegoimage. For its part, the encryption of the text is done symmetrically with encryption sequences of reliable bits, generated from the same attractor. In addition, the system key is shared using the secure exchange algorithm of W. Diffie and M. Hellman and the integrity of the information must be verified in order to retrieve it.
