This paper was born as part of the guidelines of the University of Francisco José de Caldas (UDFJC), in the Technology in Environmental Management and Public Services, which seeks to provide information on the process of internship developed in the Botanical Garden of Bogotá José Celestino mutis (JBBJCM) as a modality of technological training with the end of the afo-rementioned degree of the technological training. Based on the investment project 1124 of 2016, Educación y Participación en una Bogotá Mejor para Todos, agreements are encouraged between both public and private institutions with the JBBJCM, in order to promote in the articulated social management and the social appropriation of environmental knowledge, in a formal or nonformal way, focuses on environmental groups, social groups, student groups, kindergartens, foundations, community action boards, and other communities with which the Educational and Cultural Subdirectorate (SEC) of JBBJCM, with its working group Cuenca Salitre and Torca, carry out processes. The activities that were developed during the course of the internship with the supervision of the JBBJCM, are described below, which were advanced in the northern zone of Bogotá, specifi-cally, in the localities of Usaquén, Suba, Barrios Unidos and Engativá, being these activities part of the plan of action to give compliance to the key documents.
