Resumen
The present document present an analysis made to the text book of spanish language proposed by Editorial Norma in the year 2016 to eighth grade, with the goa lof identifying the representations that emerge in their discourses and images and the relationship of these with the intercultural project that is proposed in the educational policies, which are base don the recognition of difference, the dialogue between practice and cultural knowledge. The first sections refer to the justification, approach to the problem and objectives which justify the reason for the research, aswell as an explanation of the importance of this type of análisis for educational dynamics. Finally, we perfomed an analysis of the representations that are generated in the discourses and images in the text book and its posible influence in the creation of stereotypes, the conclusions and reflections about the topic and the role of the teacher as a fundamental part in the construction of citizenship anol the formation of cultural identities.
