Abstract

This work was carried out in order to implement a series of tools and methods, which seek to optimize quality control in the manufacture of mattresses, according to the Colombian technical standards NTC 2094, NTC 2859-2 and ISO 9001, which allow the people involved in the process, better decision making to meet their organizational objectives. The information generated by the second most important mattress company at the national level is taken as a parameter and the inspection formats are designed for the registration of the established parameters of each subassembly according to the NTC 2094 standard, with the purpose of maintaining control and establishing the indicators that contribute to the fulfillment of the objectives. Thus, an ideal database was established for the construction of the control panel in the Microsoft Power BI tool, where each indicator can be monitored in an agile, dynamic and effective way. The results obtained were: data collection formats and attributes, identification of measurement and data capture tools, and finally a database with permanent updating to maintain the dashboard graphics with relevant information in real time, which contributes to the analysis. of indicators for making more accurate decisions.
