Resumen
This research proposal is based on the role of visual literacy in fifth grade English classes at Cultivando Valores School through project work using Colombian legends as the main topic. The reader will find the evidence which support the inquiry, including those which come from empirical observation taking into account students’ artifacts such as some photos taken in English classes. All of them will be explained and will have some excerpts to show the real material obtained from the classes in which this research will take place. Also the proposal contains evidence taken from some research articles which can help to understand better the development of the research project. This information will allow presenting the problem statement along with the research question and the objectives to be achieved at the end of the investigation.
