Resumen
This report compiles the experiences and outcomes of my internship at the Institute for Pedagogy, Peace, and Urban Conflict (IPAZUD), focused on consolidating the Master's Degree in Afro-Colombian and Afro-Latin American Educational Studies. This academic initiative seeks to respond to the educational and cultural needs of Afro-descendant and Afro-Latin American communities by promoting their own epistemologies, relevant conceptual frameworks, and critical pedagogies that value diversity. From an interdisciplinary perspective, I integrated arts education as a key tool to make Afro-descendant epistemologies visible and generate spaces for creative and inclusive dialogue. During the internship, I participated in activities such as organizing panel discussions, writing academic articles, compiling a specialized bibliography, and designing a robust conceptual framework for the master's program. This report documents the objectives, methodology, and contributions made, highlighting how art was a transformative medium in the construction of this academic proposal.
