Resumen
The work climate is based on a set of psychological, organizational, social, physical and environmental factors, and on the way in which they are perceived by the workers of an organization. These perceptions depend on the experiences of each worker within the organization. This work focuses on the analysis of the Organizational Climate in the Technology area of Jaime Torres C. y Cía. S.A., proposing recommendations that contribute to improve the perception that employees of this area have about the present organizational climate. To carry out this study, a questionnaire was applied that included the dimensions proposed by Valenzuela Hernández and Chiang to perform the measurement of the organizational climate, which was answered by all the members of the Technology area. Based on the results obtained, it was determined that the dimensions that require immediate intervention are those of Autonomy, Perception of the organization, Intrinsic Motivation, Promotion and Career, Training and Development, Physical and Cultural Environment and Vision. In the same way, it is necessary to reinforce the dimensions of Recognition, Equity, Support, Communication and Innovation (neutral areas). At the end of this paper, the recommendations to be implemented are presented to make improvements in the work environment and to generate greater well-being in the area, and therefore in the organization.
