Proyecto de conexión vial sobre la quebrada Tibanica : un caso de injusticia ambiental

Abstract

Due to the social and economic dynamics that are woven in the capital district, it is necessary to interconnect with the municipalities of la sabana, in order to allow its inhabitants to develop their work activities, academic, among others in the city. That is why in recent years projects have been promoted to improve the regional connectivity of the capital, however, the location of these projects can affect areas of environmental importance for the city of Bogota. Therefore, the purpose of this project is to analyze the configuration of a situation of environmental injustice from the road connection project on the tibanica ravine through the concept and elements of environmental justice, within the socioeconomic and environmental context surrounding the wetland and surrounding neighborhoods. The elements to be taken into account are distributive justice, recognition, participation and capacities, which were related to the situation through the development of socioeconomic and environmental characterizations, the determination of consequences that the project would bring according to the available designs, the identification of perceptions, And the study of the situation as a potential socio-environmental conflict which could find its maturation at the time when the damage caused to the wetland is evidenced.
