Abstract

The Agustín Codazzi Geographic Institute (IGAC), under the responsibility of the Land Policy group, belonging to the GIT Terrestrial Control and Field Classification of the Subdirección of Geography and Cartography, advances among many activities, the quality control to the planimetric surveys carried out by different Entities. The main objective is to perform the support in the quality control of the planimetric surveys, complying with the precisions according to the methodologies established by the IGAC. Therefore, a process of review, control and verification of the assigned information is sought, knowing and applying what is established in the methodologies established by the IGAC, documenting the review by means of monitoring tables, standardized observations, generating statistics and maps, On the information analyzed and consolidate the information.
