Resumen
This project is focused on showing the importance of creating and using an English syllabus for primary students, particularly in fifth and fourth grade, taking into account the "Estándares básicos de Competencias en Lenguas Extranjeras: Inglés" and the National government plan "Colombia very well". For this purpose, I chose a private school (Liceo Comercial Nuevo Alejandrino School) This institutional practice is based on the creation and application of different activities that fulfill the institution needs and the students’ English learning process. The creation of these activities shows the intention as English teacher to create a theoretical and methodological basis for the further creation and implementation of a complete and very well structured syllabus
