Resumen
This book presents the results of the research "Conceptions of science teachers about the phenomenon of cultural diversity and its implications in teaching (First phase)", developed by the INTERCITEC and DIDAQUIM research groups. The question is asked: What are the conceptions of science teachers about cultural diversity? And if this diversity is recognized, how sensitive are they to this diversity with respect to their teaching proposals? Do teachers perceive the need to modify the objectives, contents and strategies of science teaching, taking into account this cultural diversity? Thus, the central objective was to characterize the conceptions of science teachers about cultural diversity and its implications in teaching. It had a qualitative phase, in which 17 interviews were carried out, and a quantitative phase, in which 360 teachers from twelve cities in the country participated.
