Manual de procedimientos topográficos para diseño y planos récord de redes de acueducto y alcantarillado en Bogotá

Abstract

Abstract At present, there isn´t a manual of procedures that explain to the companies and professionals of topographic engineering, the technical-operative and logistical processes that must be taken into account to develop activities of topography with framework in the Technical Standard of Service. NS-030 of the aqueduct and sewerage company of Bogotá (EAB). The absence of a guide document that serves for the strategic planning of topographic procedures, derives errors in the capture of field information, losses at the level of execution times, inputs and materials and large losses in financial and administrative terms. Through a process of observation to a topographic engineering company expert in the realization of record plans and designs of aqueduct and sewerage works (in projects developed by the EAB), it was possible to determine the logical order in the execution of their topographic processes developed in field and office. In a registration instrument (format), qualitative information was collected and the procedures and sub processes implemented by the visited expert were documented. The information collected was modeled in diagnostic tables that facilitate the analysis of qualitative data (Procedures and subprocesses collected) and quantitative (Prioritization of subprocesses), and that allow to measure the effectiveness in the execution of field and office activities, taking into account two scenarios (before making the technical manuals and after their divulgation and implementation). Once the work schemes were established, the manuals of procedures for leveling activities, GPS monuments, GPS positioning and topographic survey with total station were prepared, taking into account the field and office work. These manuals guide the reader to comply with the Technical Standard of Service NS-030: Guidelines for Topographic Works of the EAB, which regulates the minimum quality requirements for the development of surveying activities.
