Resumen
The advance of time and the need of human beings to be more precise each day, make this endeavor by improving the tools a clear case of this need is the topography has been since the beginning of mankind improving. Making his increasingly precise processes faster and most importantly without much effort. One of the most important advances in this field of study is 3D terrestrial scanner that allows us to surveying large areas decreasing time, duration and labor, as if this were the accuracy of these scanners little is far superior to the precision it is generally obtained in a survey with a survey station. Because this new technology uses a scanning system more accurate triangulation similar to a camera that is responsible for taking the actual geometry of an object in the form system may exist on the market. For this research will generate a DTM (Digital Terrain Model) and georreferenciara to compare it with a lift stations and level. And so we can determine what type of survey is more reliable taking into account various factors that affect the accuracy and the advantages and disadvantages of each method.
