Resumen
Currently, the Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas (UDFJC) is planning to regionalize its academic offerings, considering the differences in opportunities and needs for access to higher education in each region. The institutional premise must comply with equity in access and quality in higher education for each region served, adjusting to the conditions, restrictions, and requirements established in its institutional framework. The methodology applied classified higher education institutions at the municipal, departmental, and national levels. From that point, the normative models of regionalization were mapped, followed by a qualitative analysis that sought to identify the key components for the success of each model. Finally, quantitative revision was conducted based on the results. In addition, internal UDFJC procedures related to outreach were examined, and those concerning strategic planning, resource management, and coordination of regional stakeholders were specifically chosen. The regionalization strategy was created following a Kanban model that has five steps. In the planning phase, we defined a systematic approach for the implementation of regionalization, which is planned based on the operational work being done at different levels that would facilitate effective adaptation to local conditions. This perspective ensures that processes are managed visually and with agility while ensuring that the strategy supports institutional objectives and meets the requirements of the area.
