Evaluación de la vulnerabilidad estructural de las viviendas del sector “Altos de la Estancia” ante eventos de remoción en masa por el método de lógica difusa

Abstract

The phenomena of removal mass that occur in the country, nowadays is one of the major incidence of disasters. The Ciudad Bolívar locality, and in particular Altos de la Estancia sector, is located in a susceptible area of the occurrence of these events, due to its geological, hydrological and geomorphological conditions, as well as triggering anthropic factors. This report presents a methodology that allows to calculate and evaluate the structural vulnerability of the houses in this sector, by means of the fuzzy logic method, based on the established parameters, the uncertainty of the data and its modeling. The proposed method consists of twelve (12) variables, in accordance with the characteristics of the structures, their location and environmental factors, which were assigned a vulnerability index that is expressed numerically between zero (0) and one (1) and a level of importance that is fundamental in the estimation and conservation through the processing of the data as well. The final result related to the model was expressed by linguistic variables, establish like: lower, low, medium, high and higher based on the type of parameter; The mathematical formulation described above and subsequent calculation of the vulnerability index was made through the MATLAB program.
