Resumen
The purpose of this document is to establish the economic and environmental viability of the implementation of a wastewater treatment plant in the Laboratorio Bioimagen as an option to improve the handling of waste and to reduce disposal costs of liquid waste. Within the development of the document will be the qualitative identification referring to the liquid waste, realizing in this way a diagnosis about the current situation of the Company regarding the handling of liquid effluents. It identifies the treatment processes and the different intervention options that exist according to the contaminant load and the physicochemical characteristics of the liquid waste generated. In addition to this an environmental analysis is carried out, which is based on the elaboration of a matrix of aspects and impacts that allows to determine the viability of the implementation of a treatment system. Next, and as a complement to the environmental analysis, an economic study of the proposals for the implementation of a WWTP will be carried out, where the average volumes generated of liquid waste and the current costs of their final disposal are identified. Finally, the most economically and environmentally viable option is identified as an effective treatment to the liquid waste generated in the Laboratorio Bioimagen, accompanied by some recommendations which are of vital importance when making any decision about the implementation or not of a treatment system. sewage water
