Resumen
Through Law 99 of 1993 in Colombia, autonomous regional corporations were established, tasked with managing the environment and natural resources to promote sustainable development in their territories. Codechocó is one of the 32 CARs in the country, with jurisdiction covering the entire department and 45.7% of the Chocó biogeographic region. This authority is responsible for safeguarding the natural wealth of the department. In order to sustainably manage natural resources and promote intergenerational equity, CODECHOCÓ implements environmental assessment and mitigation plans to preserve resources over time. This document contains the final report of the internship conducted at the Autonomous Corporation for the Sustainable Development of Chocó (CODECHOCÓ), outlining the methodology, activities, and conclusions related to the work carried out in the corporation
