Resumen
This project aims to show the students of Electrical Engineering by propedeutic cycles of the Francisco José de Caldas District University, Technological Faculty, how to present the Coordination Report of protections of the auxiliary services AC of a hydroelectric plant based on the software ETAP. It develops topics such as: what type of protections to use in this system, necessary documents prior to the implementation of coordination, types of curves and equipment to be used in the auxiliary services of a hydroelectric power station, among others. With the intention of achieving the objective of the project it is necessary to take as a starting point the collection of information on topics such as technical and single-line data of the hydroelectric power station, followed by this to carry out the electrical drawings in both AutoCAD and ETAP and as a final element. they must perform and analyze the results that these softwares will provide. This research and analysis allows achieving the fulfillment of the specific objectives, which are based on determining technical data, analyzing and determining how productive is the solution that throws the ETAP Software. The methodology included in this project, like any technological development research project, is structured into five main tasks, which are: research, which allows to have clear concepts, modeling, which will bring us closer to the actual configuration of a power plant hydroelectric, previous studies such as load flow analysis and short-circuit study, analysis of the results presented by ETAP compared to previous studies, technical summary and final study. Not forgetting that these tasks are broken down into sub-tasks which will allow the objectives to be met and a better understanding of the project's follow-up. As a result, it is expected that, at the end of the 4 months, according to the schedule, and the activities of the methodology, there will be a report that is a guide or base for teachers, students and graduates of how to analyze and what type of criteria are important when having a discussion on the subject of electrical protections. Finally and as mentioned above, the duration of the project is estimated for four (4) months, in full, it is valid to clarify that this time will be an autonomous work parallel to the time spent in the facilities of the Francisco José de Caldas District University - Technological Faculty. The cost of the electrical protection coordination report is forecast to be $ 5,000,000 and covers the time invested by the project's mentor and project proponents and the materials and supplies for the project.
