Geovisor proyecto ODCA: Un instrumento de análisis de la conflictividad socioambiental en Bogotá, D.C.

Abstract

The project ODCA Geovisor: An Instrument for Analysing Socio-Environmental Conflicts in Bogotá, D.C. aims to develop an interactive platform that organises and makes visible the environmental conflicts identified in the city. Based on the database created by the District Observatory of Environmental Conflicts (ODCA), a geovisor was designed to integrate georeferenced information, GIS tools, and an accessible web interface. This tool enables the analysis of spatial patterns, the visualisation of territorial dynamics, and the strengthening of urban environmental governance processes. The results demonstrate that the geovisor not only contributes to understanding Bogotá’s socio-environmental complexity but also fosters citizen participation and the democratisation of knowledge, becoming a strategic instrument for territorial planning and decision-making in the city.
