Resumen
In an interview, journalist Jorge Enrique Botero analyzes the critical post-conflict situation in Colombia, arguing that the Peace Agreement has been a "failure" due to a strategic plan designed by the Colombian elites to disperse and weaken the political strength of the FARC. According to Botero, this strategy is manifested in the systematic failure to reintegrate former combatants, denying them productive projects and security, as well as their political isolation.
He interprets the arrest of Jesús Santrich as a setup and the relocation of Iván Márquez to Caquetá as an act of "self-preservation" in the face of clear threats to their legal and personal safety, evidenced by the murder of more than 80 former combatants. Botero describes the situation as an example of the "pettiness" of the ruling class and warns that the failure of the agreement is opening the floodgates to the multiplication of smaller and more disorganized armed conflicts, which could seriously destabilize the country
