Resumen
Taking advantage of variables and descriptors of the motivations of place names in the Santandereana region at the municipal level, spatial analysis was performed achieving understanding; the spatial distribution; measures of central tendency and dispersion associated with the coordinates and in the weighted version in favor of territorial identity; the internal structure of the sample; and the indicator value of place names around its meaning, motivation and type the name.

Aprovechando las variables y descriptores de las motivaciones de los topónimos de la región santandereana a nivel municipal, se realizó el análisis espacial logrando el entendimiento de; la distribución espacial; las medidas de tendencia central y dispersión asociadas a las coordenadas y también en la versión ponderada en favor de la identidad territorial; la estructura interna de la muestra; y el valor indicador de los topónimos entorno a su significado, motivación y tipología
del nombre.
