Resumen
This document describes the process of implementing a communication system using the IoT concept for environmental early warnings, using LoRa technology. The LoRa technology has a low energy consumption and a long distance coverage in line of sight which makes it suitable to fulfill the purposes of the project. The communication system is configured as a star network where there are two stations, each of which has three sensors that allow monitoring the level of carbon monoxide, air quality and ultraviolet radiation, data treated and sent through a long-range transceiver module of LoRa, using low frequencies of free license, achieving high distances and penetration. The star network has an active central node in charge of receiving data from the two monitoring stations called Gateway. The latter allows the information from the sensors to be routed to a server via an id channel, where it is possible to store and consult each of the data, by means of the application for mobile devices, in order to know the levels that affect the public health of the environment where each station is located.
