Abstract

The Contraloría de Bogotá, D.C. is a technical body, endowed with administrative and budgetary autonomy, which is responsible for monitoring the fiscal management of the Capital District and individuals who manage funds or assets thereof, under the terms and conditions provided in the Constitution, laws and agreements. The entity through its Institutional Strategic Plan (PEI) 2016-2020 raises the environmental policy where it is committed to contribute to the preservation of the environment and the sustainable use of natural resources in compliance with applicable legal and environmental requirements. To comply with the environmental policy of the PEI of the Contraloría de Bogotá, D.C., the Institutional Environmental Management Plan -PIGA is created as an instrument to implement environmental management actions that guarantee compliance with the eco-efficiency objectives,
