Estudio cienciométrico de la producción científica publicada durante los años 2011 a 2021 para especies del género Vaccinium

Abstract

The present work shows the results of the scientometric study of the scientific production published during the years 2011 to 2021 for the plant genus Vaccinium. The bibliographic search was carried out in the Scopus database. A map of co-terms was made using the VOSviewer software of the keywords assigned by the authors in the articles of interest. Additionally, the reported results were categorized in a double-entry matrix where indicators were established regarding the influence and relevance of these investigations in the scientific community, the publication trend over time, the publication trend by geographic location, the investigations carried out by species and by organ, in addition to the chemical and biological studies carried out on the species of this genus, establishing a relationship between the identified and quantified secondary metabolites, and the biological activities presented by the different extracts of these species.
