The research on the current state and the management of the files of the Mayor's Office of San Cristóbal is the one that is established as a pending task to be developed in the context of local public management, on the local Mayor's Offices of Bogotá, in terms of this it is very It is important to analyze, recognize and identify the behavior of the governance, technological, organizational, educational, occupational and document management environments within the Mayor's Office of San Cristóbal in the archives and also be able to contribute results where it is possible to know and identify the situation. of each of the environments mentioned above. This work is structured in four essential chapters, the first chapter consists of exposing the problem statement and the process through which it is possible to consider the environments that provide data and information that allow the structuring of the current situation and balance of the files. Within the sector of the Local Mayor's Office of San Cristóbal, on the other hand, there is also the general objective and specific objective where it states what will be carried out through the development of the work and what is expected to be obtained from the research. The second chapter covers what is the theoretical framework and the state of the art, this is built from the different authors and research that are related to the topic to be developed, allowing us to have a broader and more focused vision of what we want to reach and understand. within the area the current situation and the balance of the archives together with the characterization. On the other hand, the environments that are addressed within this work are mentioned more specifically, which are: the organizational environment deals with the mission, vision and dependencies to which the mayor's office belongs; continuing with the governance environment in which it helps us transmit how to carry out the processing processes, reception of files, among others; Continuing with the document management environment, it indicates the documentary processes and instruments, techniques and practices for information administration and the document management program; Later in the technological environment it will be about digital and electronic signatures, the electronic document management system for archives, digital preservation system, etc.; also in the occupational environment in how the archival occupation must be fulfilled, the regulations that must be met, salary conditions and functions that are required for the work of the archivist; Finally, there is the educational environment, where we talk about the level of education, where the degree is given, job offers and aspects that an archivist must take into account. Continuing with the third chapter, here, the different processes and methods are described, such as the approach that was carried out, this being qualitative, also, the type of research, taking the correlative description as a basis, and being one of the methods. hypothetical deductive, continuing in this way, there are the techniques and instruments of data collection, based on participant observation and the interview that was taken as a basis, for a subsequent collection of information, finally there are the research phases, where mainly based on the identification of the composition of the Governance and organizational environments. Finally, there is the fourth chapter, here the method was developed by which the respective results could be obtained from a series of questions that were formulated for each of the environments that have been mentioned above, this process was carried out through of an interview, and subsequently a structuring of the information collected was carried out, thus proposing a set of results that allowed us to know the current situation of the documentary management processes of the San Cristóbal Mayor's Office.
