Abstract

The proposal of the transition plan from ISO 9001: 2008 to ISO 9001: 2015 for SMURFIT KAPPA S.A. - Planta Bogotá begins with the diagnosis for knowing the level in which the company is related in compliance with the quality management system, furthermore, an adaptable methodology will be chosen based on the needs for the plan´s design, setting up the required activities. Within the development of the transition plan, a sensitization scheme will be created for the easy understanding of the norm and its purpose at the different hierarchical levels, based on the conformation of work teams, moreover, its respetive responsibilities are assigned along with its schedule for the execution of the plan Finally, the proposal is documented here and includes: methodology, awareness program of the standard, work teams, responsibilities and schedule will be presented in front of senior management. With all this, this proposal is expected to contribute to the implementation of the ISO 9001: 2015 SMURFIT KAPPA S.A. - Planta Bogotá quality management system thus, allowing the organization to maintain its competitiveness and reliability toward the customers.
