Resumen
Currently, the municipality of Puerto Leguizamo in the department of Putumayo, belongs to one of the Non-Interconnected Zones (ZNI) of the country, which means that it is not connected to the national energy distribution network or National Interconnected System (SIN), this is due to its difficult conditions of access and location, since it is located on a plain to the south of its department and to the north of the Amazon jungle. In 2010 the department received the installation of electrical generators with internal combustion engines (Diesel), which entail a large annual investment by the National Government and even so, some of their homes do not have electrical service; In addition, in previous years some million-dollar projects were signed that intended to supply 50% of the municipality's energy demand, however, the delivery of these projects is facing enormous delays, which, added to the completion by 2025 of some subsidies delivered by the government, represents a problem for the electrical and therefore economic sustainability of its inhabitants. One of the viable alternatives for the generation of electrical energy in Non-Interconnected Zones of the country corresponds to the implementation of small hydroelectric plants, which represent an environmentally sustainable source of energy and which, due to its low complexity, does not require a large investment for its construction and maintenance costs, compared to generation plants with the use of internal combustion engines. Therefore, for this project, the investigations, calculations, designs, budgets and technical-economic evaluations necessary for the correct implementation of a hydrokinetic turbine will be carried out and will be carried out, to be used under the conditions of the Putumayo River, at the height of the head of the Colombian municipality of Puerto Leguizamo. Carrying out the analysis required for the selection of the same within the different types of turbines found today, selecting the one that best suits the operating conditions and power generation under the operation needs of the site. The final delivery of this degree work will contain all the necessary documents for the implementation and/or start-up of the hydraulic turbine with operating and generation capacity, under the hydrological conditions of the Putumayo River.
