Abstract

The present document was developed for the model of adequacy and need of fulfillment of the environmental legislation, specifically of the reduction of emission of greenhouse gases directed on the part of the office mobility of the State Police in the city Bogotá - Colombia. The vehicle fleet of the State Police -Bogotá branch, has used hybrid vehicles (which work with both fuel types) for a portion of the total car belonging to the total employed. It is used as fuel compressed natural gas and gasoline, but its impact is unknown in the environment, specifically in the generation of greenhouse gases. One gives the realized study with the purpose of calculating the carbon footprint, and to identify the type of impact generated by the use of the patrols at the disposal of the vehicle fleet. As well as to establish if the actions realized in search of the environmental improvement for the institution, have been the suitable ones.
