Abstract

This work entitled "FORMULATION OF AN INVENTORY MANAGEMENT MODEL INTEGRATED TO AN MRP II FOR MICROENTERPRISES MANUFACTURERS OF PASSIVE SYSTEMS FOR TEMPERATURE CONTROL" was carried out in the having as model the MICROENTERPRISE COLDTECH SYSTEMS COLOMBIA S.A.S. having as its central axis the solution of problems related to the direction, management and control of inventories, due to the lack of knowledge of processes and procedures that allow an optimal flow of materials within the supply chain, which effectively establishes operations management of inventories based on your demand. The development of this document focuses in its first segment on the observation and measurement of the inventory management process, followed by a diagnosis of its procedures in relation to its storage capacities, ending with the formulation of an integrated inventory management model. to an MRP II. The elaboration of this work has as one of its objectives to present the best alternative in terms of the correction and/or change of processes and procedures related to the planning, control and management of inventories. Through the observation of planning, management and control carried out in a microenterprises manufacturing passive systems for temperature control, the implementation of an MRP II module is considered necessary, as a tool to improve their operations.
