Resumen
At the present time, reading is the subject of many research studies. It allows for maturation and acquisition’s mental processes of knowledge. At this point, the importance of the teaching practice’s transformation becomes imminent, the teachers are who provide spaces and materials in the school for the development of reading in the classroom. The objective of this research is related to the evaluation practices of reading´s characterization of grade 6’s teacher ethics, social sciences and natural sciences in a private educational institution in Bogotá. The main results of this exercise are on the construction of reading’s role in the classroom since teacher’s theory-practice perspective, through hermeneutic paradigm, qualitative method and methodological design Case Study and the theoretical postulates of Dubois (1996), Álvarez (2001), Condemarín & Medina (2000), among others.
