Resumen
This research focuses on analyzing the impact of socio-economic services offered by the University Welfare Department on students in the Faculty of Science and Education at the Francisco José de Caldas District University (UD), which, for the first academic semester of 2023, comprised 7,232 enrolled students, of whom 1,235 received these benefits. Initially, an exhaustive literature review was conducted to contextualize the study and gain a deep understanding of the topic. Theoretical approaches, previous research, and key variables related to student well-being were identified. Subsequently, a specific measurement instrument was designed through a participatory approach, which was implemented through surveys distributed via email to a determined sample using stratified sampling of 183 students. Data analysis, conducted using visualizations through BI software and correlation analysis in SPSS, provided a detailed insight into satisfaction with the services, the perception of their impact, and potential areas for improvement.
