Resumen
The aim of this study was to describe the narratives of young university, private and public institutions, on the conflict peace and reconciliation in the context of the current peace talks between the government and the FARC (Forces, Armed Revolutionary of Colombia). The research involved four students belonging to the field of social sciences, from private and public institutions. Narrative interviews were conducted, the information collected was interpreted from textual matrices organize the narrative of students from the existing powers and meanings of peace in Colombia. These interpretations come to be contrasted with exposed theories about the university crisis (Boaventura, 2007), the university's commitment to peace (Hoyos, 2010 and Papacchini, 2001) and freedom of the university expressed (Derrida, 2001). In the descriptions of student narratives, peace stands as a public good that all Colombians must be built, just as public and private institutions as places that differ its commitment to peace and national reconciliation appear.
