Resumen
This paper presents a methodology for monitoring urban dynamics in cadastral updating in a semi-automatic way thru processing and analyzing data of Airborne LIDAR (Light Detection and Ranging), it based on documented experiences by (Sánchez Lopera & Lerma García, 2012); (Jordán Francés & Martí Gavilá, 2011). The great need of today, for State and private sector, getting updated cartography of all country’s cities and towns; generates a technological boom trough which we can increase effectiveness and efficiency in processing and analysis methods for the spatial data. However, the process to identify building changes on cartography is a bit more difficult, so it is the reason which actually the processes has been manually done, but it carries a long time and money. In this way, the objective of this research has been set a methodology to identify building changes and then focus the human resources correctly in each zone which has been identified these changes.
