Propuesta para el diseño y adecuación de ambientes de trabajo apropiados para minimizar accidentes de trabajo y enfermedades laborales causados por la exposición a riesgos higiénicos en el personal operativo de Offset Gráfico Editores

Abstract

The company Offset Gráfico Editores, has identified that in the company minor accidents frequently occur in the area of finishes, accidents are related to cuts or minor injuries in fingers and hands due to the use of tools such as paper cutters. Therefore, in this study a qualitative evaluation of some risks present in the areas of printing and finishing is proposed, in order to establish whether the exposure to different physical pollutants (lighting and noise) or chemicals (gases or vapors present in the environment of work) are affecting workers, being this exposure to the aforementioned risks the origin of the accident. This is a descriptive study that is developed through the selection and qualitative and quantitative measurement of physical and chemical factors resent in the production process of a company in the graphic arts sector that affect a specific group of people. Additionally, other variables associated with the management of Occupational Health and Safety at the company Offset Gráfico Editores such as absenteeism, accident, frequency, severity and occupational disease will be considered.
