Abstract

Educational institutions as centers of integration and strengthening of knowledge, are part of fundamental part of the daily life of many people, which is why the importance of publicizing the guidelines that the District Institute for Risk Management and Climate Change - IDIGER to all people who intervene directly or indirectly with the educational establishment, the IDIGER has elaborated a guide for educational entities called "guidelines for the preparation of the school management plan of risk and climate change PEGR-CC" this guide serves to identify the risks that are, In the same way, intervention measures must be proposed in case of emergencies within the institution. This work will be carried out at the Liceo Hypatia, a private Educational Institution for the formal education, registered with the Secretary of Education and located in the town of Suba that does not have an emergency and contingency plan that allows establishing in a clear and organized way the way how any adverse event of natural, anthropogenic or technological, social or generated by the development of the activities of the institution. The absence of an emergency and contingency plan is an incident factor that jeopardizes the working population, students and faculty, contemplating that in most cases it is not can foresee the occurrence of a supernatural event, added to this not having clarity about the control procedures to act in the face of these eventualities and this contributes to the reaction to emergencies is not appropriate and possibly damages any of the resources of the educational institution.
