Resumen
The present investigation arises from the interest on the systematization of the experience of the children and young people that participate in the project to the school by bike of the Secretary of Education of the District. Therefore, attending the development of public policies on the construction of an educating city, for the present study we focused on the city imaginaries of the children and young people participating in the project. For the development of the research the developed axes were followed for the research group INFANCIAS regarding the investigation of imaginaries, for its development, qualitative research instruments were implemented, in addition to the implementation of the emociogram as a research proposal. The analysis was done through grids, which helped unveil the imaginary meanings of the children in front of their city. In the research findings are identified imaginary instituted by children who are, the city of terror and the city of chaos In the same way, the instituting imaginaries that were categorized as the joyful city and the city of the bicycle were unveiled.
